Brenda Pastorek – President and Chief Operating Officer

Brenda PastorekAs President and Chief Operating Officer of Northforge Innovations Inc., Brenda Pastorek is responsible for providing the leadership that enables the Company to stay at the leading edge of the cloud infrastructure technology. Her vision has enabled the Company to experience financial and operational growth. Brenda has been with the company since 2005 and has held various positions, most recently Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

Brenda has more than 30 years of financial and operational experience spanning the sectors of primary industry, professional services and software technology consulting. Along with her background in internal audit, she has an entrepreneurial spirit and experience working with start-up companies. In 2012 Brenda was recognized for her contribution to business in Canada with a Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal. She studied at University of Toronto and holds a Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA, CGA).

Gordon Song – Director of Engineering

Gordon SongGordon is responsible for the successful delivery of high quality and innovative solutions for our customers. Gordon joined Northforge in 2004 and has progressively evolved his role by consistently demonstrating engineering and leadership capabilities in a fast-paced environment using Agile development methodologies.

Gordon’s passion is to empower creative and innovative engineering teams, continuously improve software quality and ultimately increase customer satisfaction. Gordon has 23 years of extensive software development and management experience in communications infrastructure, cloud computing, network management and applications.

Gordon holds a Master of Computer Engineering from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Bachelor of Computer Science from the Nanjing University of China. He has also done Artificial Intelligence research in Dalhousie University formerly Technical University of Nova Scotia.

Dawn McGee – North American Business Development Manager

Dawn McGeeDawn has 25 years of customer-facing Telecom experience working for companies including Boston Technology, Voicetek and Nokia.  She has a strong technical background and has managed Technical Support, Professional Services and Sales teams within the industry.

Well-skilled in relationship management, Dawn is expert at understanding and communicating customer needs, managing internal and external teams, ensuring alignment across constituencies and bringing products to market on time and on budget.

Dawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, with concentrations in Business and Psychology, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.

Amanda Lambert – Director of Finance and Administration

Amanda LambertAs Director of Finance and Administration, Amanda Lambert is responsible for the management of Northforge Innovations’ financial and Human Resources.
Amanda joined Northforge in 2011 as Financial Controller and progressively evolved in her role. Within three years, Amanda was promoted to Director of Finance, expanding her responsibilities to include strategic planning and relationships with Northforge’s financial partners. In 2015, Amanda’s role was expanded to Director of Finance and Administration to include the management of Human Resources. Amanda is passionate about the efficient use of financial resources while fostering an environment that promotes employee engagement.

Amanda holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CGA) designation, and an Honors Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University.

Paul Gasparro

Paul, a co-founder of Northforge Innovations Inc, is a serial entrepreneur who has founded and developed companies in the network communications industry, including Voicetek Corp., Aurora Systems and NexCen Technologies.

Paul has over 30 years of experience working with major network communications service providers, telephone and computer equipment manufacturers, and with Fortune 100 companies to help deliver and improve products, services and operational performances of their businesses. He has served in key executive positions at Motorola and Fairchild/Schlumberger. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Network Communications Council (MNCC), and is active in the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Enterprise Forum, Inc.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Masters of Business Administration from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He holds several patents in the fields of computer telephony integration.

Jim Pinard

Jim is the co-founder of Northforge. He is an entrepreneur with several high-tech start-ups to his credit, including PIKA Technologies which he co-founded in 1987. During his more than 25 year career in the computer telephony and network communications industries he has introduced groundbreaking products in CTI and voice processing. He holds 6 patents related to PBX and telephone set electronics. Jim graduated cum laude from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

Josef Zankowicz

Josef Zankowicz brings over 20 years of experience in business and marketing in high technology. He has been involved with some of Canada’s leading companies such as Delrina, MGI Software, and most recently GuestLogix, which ranked 9th by revenue growth in 2010. He is an active investor in business start-ups and sits on the board of social software maker, Speechbobble.

E. Jack Stewart – Venture Capital Fund of New England (VCFNE) IV

Mr. Stewart has been involved in early stage New England capital for over 25 years – as a partner of Corning Venture Management, as a founder of Kestrel Venture Management in 1995, and as a founding partner of VCFNE IV. He serves on the board of numerous companies including VCFNE companies Members Connect, Inc., Nutfield Technology, Inc., and Texterity, Inc. Mr. Stewart holds a BS degree from Yale and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Jack Blaeser has held a number of senior financial management, sales, and marketing positions with various technology-oriented companies. Prior to joining Concord in April 1995, Jack was a managing general partner at EG&G Venture Management, a $47.5 million venture capital fund focusing on emerging, high technology companies. Jack began his career in 1964 with General Electric Company. Jack holds a BSEE from Northwestern University.

Robert Wadsworth has been with HarbourVest Partners LLC since 1986. At Booz, Allen, and Hamilton he specialized in operations, strategy, and manufacturing productivity. Robert is currently a director with four publicly traded companies – ePresence, Network Engines, Inc., Trintech Group PLC, and Switchboard, Inc. He is also a director of several U.S. and international private companies. He holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
